Don't worry, it won't be that bad. Here are some of my favorite road trip activities. The first one is "don't say it". So you can say a few different words like maybe three of them "bored", "hungry", and then maybe like something like "iPad" or whatever if your kids are fighting over who gets the iPad and have a little competition to see who can go the longest without saying it. The next idea is to do a little treasure hunt. So name two or three things depending on the age of your kids and maybe like a car with a pet in it or like a sign that has a word that starts with "s", something like that, and then the first person to see all two or three of those things gets a little prize whatever that might be. Alright, the next idea is that game "I'm going on a picnic". So I'm going on a picnic and I'm gonna bring a book, what do you want to bring? Maybe someone says I want to bring my dog and I say no you can't come and someone says I want to ring my ice cream, no you can't come. But if someone says I want to bring an apple I would say oh you can come. So did you figure out what it was? Yeah! It's the double letter. So book and apple "o o" and "p p". So then whoever figures out the thing, I get them to stay quiet and then everyone else can kind of like get a chance to figure out what it was and then someone else can take a turn. All right, the next one is would you rather questions. So these are fun, endless entertainment and yeah just really fun times. Plus you can like find out some interesting things about what people think. So would you rather eat pizza or hamburgers or you can do gross ones like would you rather pick your nose in public or have your fly be undone or something and just whatever you want. Whatever is appropriate for your age of kids and yeah have some fun with that. Okay, the final idea I have is to do some riddles and jokes. So I have a book filled with riddles and jokes that are perfect for kids on a road trip, so I'll put the link up there for you and you can check it out.
